How careful should I be pressure washing the quad i guess what areas should I stay away from? I'm guessing carb/any air intake to the engine

you shouldn't have any problems if your careful about washing around your airbox and carb. I usually take off my filter and shove a rag in my intake. Be sure to plug your exhaust too. depending on how strong your power washer is you should be really careful around stickers. my heated power washer loves to take stickers off.

If your going to stand it up on its rear be carefull around the breather tubes.

yea be careful around stickers.... my pressure washer loves a good sticker for a snack

Depending on how much pressure your using, you could also damage grease seals. But if you keep a safe distance away and your just using a low powered pressure washer you should be okay. If your using a powerful gas powered washer, well... you shouldn't IMO.
