Bought a new 2008. Doesn't have 2 tanks through it yet and it seams like the clutch lever is sticking. Its been wet around here so we have gotten some mud. Have not caked it in mud but it seams like after a while of riding the lever gets stuck and once or twice I physically had push it back. Didn't know whether I should spray some cable cleaner in the cable and lithium grease on the actual lever or what.

Any advice would be appriciated!!!!

I would clean and lubricate the cable sounds like it could have gotten some crud in it also check where the clutch cable goes to the actual mechanism on the left side of the case behind the cylinder (follow the clutch cable you'll find it) you could have mud on there that dried and is sticking the cable causing your problem.

I just use a regular penetrating oil on mine (wd40 etc ) whatever you prefer there might be a special lubricant but that keeps mine working good
