We are trying to source rear axle bearings from another source other than OEM. Has anybody already tried this or do you have specifics on the OEM bearing dimensions? Thanks

Remove the old bearing and take it to a bearing house.

i think it's just a 206ff bearing if i remember right. take it out and swing it by a auto parts store, they should be able to help ya out. if not, try "allballs racing" thats who i got mine from.

those bearngs im pretty sure are made specifically for the rear axle of honda pupose and you wont be able to find them anywhere else

you can try allballs or pivot works but they last about half the life of the OEM bearings

you get what you pay for

KML bearing # is 6908-2rs , I've used these with great sucess about 2 yrs of trail riding never re greasing them, doing the bearings for the second time since bike was new in feb 04
ps sometime you pay for a name and not quality , my honda parts counter carries these bearings and says they are the same bearings diff. box and alot cheaper

the username of the person i buy them from is racergirlsrock they are $28 bucks

well i agree with the getting what you pay for,but i think most of the time you pay for the name brand. my "cheepo" allballs racing bearings have been going strong for 2 years now, and they have yet to show any wear. i have no doubt they will last anouther year. jmho.
