I was looking to do the same thing but the pipe mouts are different. you will have to work with that if you do I also read that you have to do something different to put the 06+ plastic on them.. I do not think it is anything major but I remember reading that it is not 100% bolt and go.

Not sure if you can make it work but I have a used 05 sub-frame I would sell you for $50 + shipping if you want to give it a try. It comes with the seat latch and all of the rubber pieces as well. Everything you need.... if interested I'll take some pictures for you.
And the rear fender would be fine. You'll need to shim it up about 1/2 off the 05 sub-frame so you do not end up with a gap between the seat and the rear fender. |
