What did you not like about the 39?

What kind of riding do you do?

What size tires do you run?

What size is your front sprocket?

Sorry, didn't mean for it to be an inquisition>LOL!!!!!

Till later .....

im running a stock 13 front sprocket with 22" 8 paddle haulers when i had the 41 i could get the hole shot every time no matter who i was racing, it seemed to ease into the power a little better, with the 39 im just spinning out of the hole. not sure if that makes any sense but im no sprocket/tire expert. but i need a steel one because the aluminum ones dont last with 22" haulers in oregon sand, i hook up to much and eat them up quick.

heres a pick of my latest massive drivetrain malfunction.

are you running a skid plate of any kind?
i ran my 41 (aluim) in oregon with no skid cause it wouldnt fit and the sprocket was always in the sand. i had to adjust the chain every ride and replace after the trip. i liked the 41 but not without running a skid.

but ive got 22" tires so my sprocket is rarelly in the sand, 90% of the ruts are from 20" tires, so i dont have any problems.

I just went from 13/40 to 13/39 and now to 13/41. I haven't ridden it yet because the motor is apart AGAIN. I have an AC skid plate and it clears no problem. I put on a new chain and went two links longer than stock which brought the sprocket back far enough to clear the chain guide. I couldn't get the stock chain to fit with the 41 tooth rear.

BTW, I got mine at magic racing also.
