Dasa vs. Rath intake ring

Question: The +06 Dasa intake looks to be nothing more then a ring that is inserted into a stock 06+ intake that uses a filter similar in size to the stock one? I recently just purchased a +06 Rath intake ring that inserts into the stock intake for the purpose of preventing the air filter clamp from deforming the stock intake causing leaks. The Rath ring is tapered just like the +05 adapter rings too. Would I be correct in saying the Rath ring is similar to the Dasa intake in that it helps the intake flow better? The Dasa ring is advertised to improve flow where as the Rath ring is advertised to prevent the clamp from being over tightened. Could Rath ring be considered an intake too? Here is a picture of my Rath ring inserted into the intake. Please forgive my messy airbox as it is much cleaner now.

it might help but if you want a real intake get a ROLB intake or FCI. they are worth the money

Well Dasa is a little bit almost nothing bigger and the rath looks the same size, so the rath doesn't allow to flow more air.

Robl looks awesome

Bigger by how? Bigger filter, bigger intake diameter? It looks like the Dasa ring slides in the stock intake flange just like the Rath one does?

Here are pictures of the two. Rath racing on left and Dasa on the right. The Rath looks likes it a bit more tapered where the Dasa is flat.
