hill climb bog..

ok so we went out riding a couple weeks ago... off the back side of the small dunes we have here there is a decent size hill climb. all 3 of us had 450s but only 2 made it up...
i have posted many times on here about my 04 bogging and such. well here is a video of my wife going up the hill. Now before ya say "oh she wasnt revving high enough... etc" my buddy who has the other trx450r tried going up the hill and did the same thing.
i showed the video to a couple of techs at my work, and one said that the coil may be bad. i pulled it out and he ran a continuity test on it and said he couldnt get and accurate reading on it, but it wasnt reading what it should be. how he tested it... im not sure. it starts fine, idles fine, the plug looks great. its just going up big hills it boggs like this.
What do you guys think? im out of ideas on this bike.
sorry about the bad quality on the video.. its all i had.

Check your valves are shimmed to spec.. I had an 05 that did something very similar, I changed the stator (which it also could be) but that's all it was were the intake valves were way too tight.

is there a way to test the cdi box or the stator to see if they are bad and need to be replaced instead of changing them and not having that be the issue?
