i have a stockl length hotrods heavy duty rod sitting right next to my sopposed stroker crank the rod has the exact same hr 632 on its side. Not another headache.

My life is not a journey with the intent of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather I will skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out loudly proclaiming... WOW What a Ride!!!

i think people should do some measuring for us like one of the site sponsors who will have the 2 different ones in stock and do a number check also[/b]

Yes. Maybe all the +3 crank rods have 632... Maybe the stock has 8632 ????

Also, don't you have to take the crank assembly apart to measure?? If not, tell me how to measure it and I'll do it right now. Maybe measure the highest point of the Rod (as assembled)?

EDIT:

Just noticed poorboy posted info while I was typing the above. So maybe all rods have the same p/n on them?? Which would be scary!

A simple ruler may do the trick. The stroker is supposed to be 1.5mm longer, correct? See if you can tell.

FYI, the sticker on my box is EXACTLY the same as tuffguy's. And if you look close, the sticker underneath looks like "4060".
Guess what that number crank is.

Just measure from the top of the big end to the bottom of the small end. You should be able to get an idea of what you have.

Thinking out-loud here....... but....

What if Hot Rods somehow assembled some of the +3 cranks with stock size rods?

Hope this is just a big mis-understanding and our cranks are all okay.

Poorboy, if you can tell me what to measure I'll grab the calipers and go to it...
