What year does the Honda trx come out in kick start only?

I wanted to know what years Honda made the trx450 in kick start and what years electric start? Thanks

in 05 and 04 it was only kick starts and in 06-09 honda made an electric start model (trx450er) and a kickstart model (trx450r) and now the new trx's are all electric starts.

you can get a 2013 kicker also, see Honda's main site.
just as a side note, you can find other years 06+ that were kicker from the factory, but I don't know which years. Kicker conversions are simple now too, but yes in 04-05 there were only the good ones that were kicker from the factory... lol

2006-2009, 2013 - Electric

There was no kick start model for 2006.

That's weird I own a 2006 factory kick start.

And I was looking at the Honda site again, and now I can find no reference to a 2013 kicker model, it was just putting up a 2009 kicker in the comparison deal and I think I misread it.

I'm about 99% sure they didn't produce an 06 kick start bike (never seen one anywhere). I've got an 06 the I put a kicker kit in however.

I just searched for them and I've seen publications saying they were available (06 kicker) but whenever I've searched for parts and when looking for bikes to purchase, I've never seen an 06 kicker.

They did kickstart from factory in 06 they were later the e start was released 1st . I had 1 estart and 2 kickers that year. They offered kickstarts in 06-09 but they were in limited #s

So was it a Factory order only? or did they hit the showrooms at dealers too? I've searched for them and never seen one.

450r=kicker 450er=electric start.

Just look up the year and 450R on any parts site for kicker parts...that will tell you if they offered a kicker for that year.
