Default '05 OEM Front Fender Install...

Hi all,

I bought a used '05 450R. When I picked it up, the front fenders weren't on the bike. All I have to put them on is the one bolt that attaches to the front of the fender itself (closest to the front wheel). I'm trying to find out what hardware I need to install them properly but I can't find anything.

take a picture of what you have then post in the wanted section of what you need. I am sure someone is doing a part out and you can pick up the pieces pretty easily.

I guess so....I have no idea. I am new to the bike as well as to the sport. It's gonna be quite the learning curve! I'm thinking of just going to a dealer and seeing if they have the parts I need.....

I just went and looked at WWW.RMATV.com at their OEM parts selection. If you look at the diagram for "front Fender" it gives you a really great exploded view of all the parts needed.

I just finished looking at that actually. From the looks of it I don't need absolutely everything I don't think.....The shroud is already on the bike, and it looks as thought the fender attaches to it. To install the fender, does it use bolts that are already on the bike? Or do you need separate ones? The guy I bought it from is sending me the brackets in the mail but no bolts....

Your'e going to need extra bolts anyways. You may as well purchase a bolt kit. The Tusk kits in RMATV serve their purpose well.

Is this the one you're referring to?
