I went from a raptor 700r 2006 model shaved head, pcm, lid mod, k&n, race gas, liked it but too much weight for trail riding with 450's, you have to man handle a raptor in the woods to maintain with the 450's. It will wear you out. Then went to a suzuki ltz400 tricked out, fast as heck, sold it got a honda 450r acquired from a buddy and never rode it. I was going to get off into the MX racing but finances screwed up, Bought an 07 LTR450 tricked out with a special mod done to head pipe and exhaust pipe, cherry bomb, hotcams, and thats fast enough, no pcm going on it. Love it, love the width, the look. The honda 450r is what I am parting out, its got all the goodies from Hinson, Axxis custom air shocks, Lonestar arms, Lonestar steering stem assembly, I have not taken the motor apart yet to vrify all the goods inside. The gear shift lever got stuck in between a chain when put on the trailer and yanked it out the side of the casing(BAD thing) so I said the heck with it because I saw that ltr450 I wanted anyways because it looked so sweeeeeet.
