ahh ok thanks and your are defenetly correct on the last statement

Is there a site sponsor that sells the dirtworks kit or the ockerman kit at a slight discount?

I have a 24volt start system. I currently have the ORP style box, where it's mounts upfront under the hood. And i use a Tru-Gel battery on the front battery, and still have the OEM in the original spot. Next time, i will use 2 of the 4 cell Ballistic Battery's. They will fit in the same spot as the stock battery. and each battery only weighs 3/4 of a pound. They are Lithium style battery's, each 4 cell is 135 CCA also. so you go to a 24 volt system and lose weight. We have done this with the Yamaha already, and it worked Awesome!
And you only have a make a short wire to wire the battery's correctly, instead of one to chase the battery all the way to the front and back to the starter.
Keep in mind the Second battery does NOT charge, so after using it you will need to charge it, I have a battery tender lead connected to my battery all the time, and after each ride i just plug it up and it's good to go next time.

Sorry to jack the thread, but I would be interested in your kit above me . ^^^^^^

Anyway, what works better a 24V kit or one of those nice gel battery ?
If I wanted to mount another 12 V battery, how do I get them both hooked up ? Just put the + and - with wires to the other battery ??

EDIT: Just need/want to learn how to wire the second battery in .. I will research but if someone has a answer or leading thread to it . I will be happy to see . Thanks!

Form what i've read you take the wire that goes from the sylinoid to the starter and run it to the negative of the second battery and run a wire from the positive of the second battery to the starter that way you only have 24v going to the starter and not through the whole electrical system

Check out the antigravity battery's a little pricey but it's worth it to me 2 (4 cell ) 12v make the 24v you are looking for but the battery's fit perfectly into your stock battery box nice clean install no extra mounts just have to wire correctly
