What harm do dune tires to do a bike.. i heard something bad about them but its very vague in my memory. I was actually looking at gettin duners for my quad and was planning to ride on looser dirt with them. Anyone with dune tires suggest NOT riding like that? I know SAND DUNE tires means for SAND DUNES.. but i was thinkin they would either gimme some kickin traction or none at all. I might use them on grass too.. Any help? I also heard that Turf Tamers and Holeshot tires wear really fast.. is that true?

man your rear end bearings wonèt last a minute riding on dirt and grass, get a set of irazrs or holeshot gncc tires if you want awesome traction and long wear time. i have used both on my 450Rs and if you want great traction in all conditions you canèt go wrong

ya i ran my paddles for too long on hard pack because i didnt have the cash on hand at the time for new knobbies and i ended up putting a new bearing carrier in it. I wont ever ride paddles unless im in sand again.

If you want some awesome traction on dirt and want to use some tires that get traction up to the standards of sand get some Pro Wedges.....AMS Zippers....or Maxxis 4-snows. Pretty much all the same tire. Awesome traction on dirt and good traction on sand. They dont wear fast either cause the paddle is small.

thanks for the info guys.. but if i have to go with a holeshot i want something thats kinda slippery but controlable on grass and dirt. I picked out a set of ITP Holeshot H-D's and Baja rims to go along with it. I went to the shop today and they want 250 bucks for a front rim (mine is a little bent) so i figured why get stock when i can get 4 baja's for 400 bucks and get some new tires while im at it??
